Top Five Lipsticks Under $10
I'm a huge lipstick junkie. Every time I'm in the grocery store, I have to go down the makeup isle and check out what the drugstore brands have to show. I've tried and tested hundreds of lipsticks, and today I am here to tell you the five best lipsticks under $10.
1. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm: $6.99-8.99 ( Favourite shade: Standout a brick red.)
These fully pigmented creamy lipsticks give you the matte look that you desire without that horrible drying feeling that some matte lipsticks can give you. Infused with shea, coconut, and mango butters, these lipsticks feel more like a balm than a lipstick without slacking in the lasting power, and pigmentation. Easy to reapply, these lipsticks will wear beautifully through eating, drinking, and talking. Just make sure your lips are fully exfoliated before applying, since they are matte they will accentuate flaking skin. Overall, these are fantastic lipsticks, and I would highly recommend them! You can find these are Walmart, Target, CVS, Rite Aid, and some grocery stores
2. Wet 'N' Wild Megalast Lipstick: $2 (Favourite shade: Mauve outta here, a browny pink)
Another matte lipstick (my favourite type) these lipsticks are also creamy, opaque, and non-drying much like the Revlon ones. With a wide variety of colors to choose from, you can find the perfect shades for your makeup collection. One downside to these lipsticks however, is the packaging. If you aren't careful, some of the lipstick can come up inside the cap, and in some cases, the cap refuses to stay on at all. However, for $2 a pop, you can't really complain! You find these at CVS, Rite Aid, some Walmarts, Target, and online at wetnwild.com.
3. Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick: $7 (Favourite shade: Berry Rose)
These lipsticks are on the glossy side of things, and offer intense moisture for those who hate how matte lipsticks feel. The range offers a wide range of shades, and are more sheer than a more drying lipstick. Some women have said that the range has a few hit or miss shades, but if you are looking for a moisturizing, more natural lipstick, these are for you. You can find these at Walmart, Target, CVS, and Rite Aid.
4. NYX Butter Lipstick: $6 (Favourite Shade: Licorice)
True to the advertisement, these lipsticks truly do glide on like butter. However, do to the fact that these lipsticks are not meant to be long wearing, keep in mind that you will have to reapply during the day. Weirdly enough for a "butter" lipstick, these lipsticks end up being a touch drying, so make sure to put on a balm before. The pigmentation of these lipsticks are incredibly beautiful, and when paired with the NYX butter gloss, they meld together to make the most stunning glossy lip. You can find these lipsticks are Target, Ulta, and nyxcosmetics.com.

5. Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick: $7.99 (Favourite Shade: Black Cherry)
These lipsticks are super opaque, long wearing, and easy to apply. A cult favourite is the shade Black Cherry, a vampy. sexy plum perfect for this time of year, and looks sultry in the summer time. Easily versatile, these lipsticks can be dabbed on the lips to create a beautiful stain, or swiped on to create a full on pigmented lip. Gliding easily on the lips there are no catches to leave uneven color, and even with such a dark shade as Black Cherry, the lips are left no drier than they were before you apply. I love these lipsticks and would highly recommend them. You can find them at Walmart, Target, some grocery stores, Ulta, CVS, Rite Aid, and revlon.com.
